The tclsh command in Cisco IOS can execute Tcl scripts from the router's command line interface. You can also use tclsh scripts to enhance the actions executed in the Embedded Event Manager applets.

If you'd like to write your own tclsh scripts, these articles might help you get started (assuming you have basic Tcl knowledge):

  • Generate escape sequences from Tclsh
  • Insert responses to command prompts in Tclsh
  • Tclsh command line parameters
  • Execute IOS commands and configure the rotuer from Tclsh
  • More IOS tclsh resources

You can add your own Tclsh script into CT3 from the tcl page.
